Filed under: Contest Winners — Sarah @ 1:13 pm

Last month we asked our customers to share photos of their cute cats. We received many great photos and selected five winners to receive a brand new ScoopFree litter box, our new Paw Cleaning Carpet, a privacy hood and three extra Litter Tray Cartridges.   We congratulate Bernie Bernstone, Sheila Ribman, Sue Schumacher, Dorothy Silecchia and Darren & Michelle Van Booven. Thank you to everyone who submitted photos and entered the contest. Click MORE to see the winning cat’s photos and to learn more about them.

Bernie Bernstone cats Belly Button (BB) & Rocky:

BB & Rocky   BB & Rocky   BB

BB (bellybutton) is the gray one and Rocky (raccoon) is the other… BB is so cute and so smart… when he was little I was actually able to train him to go on the toilet, but that only lasted about 2 months until I went on a 2 week vacation and he stopped… they love each other and play and sleep together… BB loves to watch the Simpsons…

Sheila Ribman’s cat Simone:

Simone 3   Simone   Simone 4

My Siamese cat Simone loves watching Animal Planet and TV shows with animals. She also likes to sit on my scanner while it vibrates or sit in empty boxes or anything that is empty and cozy. She is 12 yrs old and still acts like a kitten.

Sue Schumacher’s kitten Colton:

Colton 2   colton 3   Colton 4

Colton is our new kitten (born March 1, 2006). His favorite passtimes are annoying the dog, helping in the kitchen (see the pictures) and napping. One of his favoriate places it sitting in the top of my artificial tree in the corner of my living room. I suspect he thinks he’s a leopard. He knows he isn’t supposed to be on the kitchen table, but when we are eating he tries every way he can think of to join us. After he has tried all the routes and realizes he just isn’t going to get his way, he sits in a corner and washes himself acting as if he doesn’t even know we’re there.

Dorothy Silecchia’s cats Romeo & Tiger:

Romeo   Tiger 1   Tiger

Ok, the larger cat which is a Himalayan is Romeo. We found him out on the property where I live when he was about 3 - 4 months old. I fell in love with him at first sight. Well he enjoys getting up my under my pant legs and biting my ankles, loves playing peek a boo, loves having company people and/or other pets and loves to play with all of them. He just loves one of my friends to visit her sneakers are so skinky he’s all over them and in them, then goes for her feet, tries not to let her have them back when she leaves. Also a few nights a week he sits by the refrigerator waiting for a little spritz of whip cream?? just can’t get enough of it. I don’t know what I do without him!! One other thing Rome likes is traveling and flying on planes? The other smaller kitten is a Tiger and his name is Horatia. First it was Trouble but I thought that wasn’t too nice, Now I sometimes call him Horatio the Horror, He doesn’t listen to any thing I say has to always do it his way? Well the two cats are bonding very well, but Romeo lets him know he’s the real boss of the house. Horatio believes everyone’s food is really for him and goes for it. When I’m sleeping and he gets hungry he just gets up on something high and pounces down on my stomach or comes to my face and starts licking it with his scratchy tongue and wakes me to feed him, but this goes on every few hours even though I put him out of the bed or wrap my sheets around me , whole body so he can’t get to me, then he just stays there and talks all night. He enjoys hiding when I’m not watching him. Heard noise from the frig. Opened it there he was laying on the bottom shelf, likes water and showers, and love to and can pick up his water bowl and turn it upside down. I just find that watching cats no matter how many you have is one of the fascinating things to do.I have an illness and if I didn’t get these precious cat and kitty I would most likely be dead by now. But they are the world to me and I never want to see them go or get lost. Never thought I could fell this way about anyone or anything.

Darren & Michelle Van Booven’s kitten LB:

LB 3   LB 2   LB

Little Bit (we call him “LB” for short). LB is about a half year old now. Both my wife and I have had many cats over the years, but LB is really not your typical cat. As the pictures show, he sits down in a very relaxed position just like people do, often against a wall or in a chair. He often sleeps between us with his head propped up on a pillow, and he even likes a lot of the food we like. We can’t feed him regular food, of course, but it’s fun to let him lick a Slim Jim (as seen in the picture), eat whipped cream, or drink some iced tea every once in a while. He goes crazy for it!
