(CHICAGO, IL) – Lucky Litter LLC, maker of the ScoopFree self-cleaning automatic litter box, is establishing the ScoopFree Shelter Program, a national initiative that assists animal shelters with their important fundraising efforts.
The ScoopFree Shelter Program provides free and on-going ScoopFree products, financial donations and administrative assistance to animal shelters in local communities throughout the country.
“In realizing the vital role that animal shelters play, our company understands that it’s critical we help support these important organizations as part of our on-going commitment to the pet community” said Alan J. Cook, ScoopFree founder and CEO. “We feel that the ScoopFree Shelter Program is the most meaningful way we can help the dedicated people and organizations that have given so much to help the often helpless animals.”
In recent pilot tests, the program received an enthusiastic reception from ten shelters across the country, including the CAT Adoption Team and The Cat Network Inc.
“All our foster parents that have tested the ScoopFree self-cleaning litter box love it, and find that when given several boxes to choose from, most cats use the ScoopFree box,” said Cindy Hewitt, Executive Director of The Cat Network Inc. “We look forward to offering ScoopFree to our adopters and helping provide a healthy environment for our adopted cats.”
