People love Top 10 lists. So here are the 10 most important things to know for the "Who's the next ScoopFree star?" contest.
While not in any order of importance and we encourage you to follow all of them (at least our lawyers do), having a great time is probably more important than reading the rules.
- Have an idea – any idea – for a ScoopFree commercial.
- Talk about your idea with a friend or family member. And if you can simplify it, great.
- Don't like the ideas you have? Watch other commercials. Which ones made you want to buy the product? Which ones made you laugh or cry? Which ones were memorable? Don't force it - the best ideas usually come when you least expect it.
If you need some inspiration, talk it over with your cat. Your cat won't talk back, but at least it will get your creative juices flowing. And if your cat does talk back, put that in the commercial - you'd probably win.
- Take a look at the prizes to remind yourself what you’re hoping to win.
- Go to the Director's Tools page. With unlimited access to stuff like logos, music and video shots of Scoop Free in action, you can spend less time on the details and more time on your big idea.
- If you need to better acquaint yourself with ScoopFree, go to the What is ScoopFree section. We know how great it is, maybe learning more about it will spark an idea. Plus, we spent a lot of time writing it all up and we don’t want it to go unnoticed.
- Make sure you have the equipment you need – a video camera is probably key – to film a commercial. If you don’t have one, we’re sure a friend will let you borrow one.
- Have a great time! At least it’s not work.
Oh, and
- Read the Official Rules carefully, but not too carefully. We don’t want you to find any grammatical errors.
